I have a couple thousand flight hours in the Kiowa Warrior (Apache's little brother) and I've thrown many grenades. They are both very useful and very, very cool. However I don't think myself, or anyone else, has a "need" for either of them outside of the military.

I got my Dall sheep in Alaska after 4 years of hunting hard to find a legal full curl. He was bedded in an area where it would have been impossible to get closer than 150 yards. Needed my rifle to take him. If I get to go again I’ll take my rifle.
