Interesting comment about the 28 Nosler. Kind’a weird though, I thought you were only allowed to smoke dope at work here in Colorado. 🤣 The 7mm is a great cartridge, but the 28 Nosler will shoot further, flatter, and hit harder, than the 7mm all day long. C’mon man! Join the 21st-century!!

5 mile hike with all the pups this morning. Between 9,500 and 10,500 ft elevation.

4 mile hike this morning with all the pups. Nothing fancy … it was hot today.

Spotting scopes ... hmmm ... I have heard of them ... didn't have 'em when I was growing up ... we had to walk a mile uphill both ways through the snow to get to the 100 yard targets. Actually, the range I go to is well controlled with Safety Officers. They let everyone shoot for 20 minutes...

Almost any caliber will work fine. Take whichever one you shoot the best.

I walked about 3 miles back and forth on the shooting range yesterday… working on my 28 Nosler loads.

I did it years ago. Departed from the South Rim at sunrise, jogged to the bottom, got a couple ounces of water from the river for my Dad, hiked back up to my start point in time to see the sunset. Long, fun day.
