I agree with you totally CC....land and home prices are completely nutso everywhere. The affordable RE taxes that you pay will be significantly higher for whoever buys your estate and establishes a new "value". I bought raw land on a lake for $10K in 1989, and built everything myself, but...

I am totally in agreement with CC....though I will likely not be buying any more rifles at this stage of my life. If I were, I would give serious to the 6.5PRC in a Savage 110 Ultralight. I'm not sure if they come with a threaded barrel.

I am far from an expert, but would suggest that you go to a pro shop and shoot a variety of bows. I did that about 15 years ago, and bought the bow that hit the sweet spot for me. The newest and "bestest" is likely the most expensive, and may not turn out to be your best choice.

It's the ones that you don't see that you have to worry about. Catch the news story about a couple brothers who were just attacked by a mt. lion in California. One 21 year old was killed, and the 18 year old escaped after getting mauled in the face.

Unfortunately much of this discussion will become moot with the use of wildlife management via referendum to eliminate hunting.
