Not a buck but sharing because I shot it with a 350 legend. First year in IL that we can use straight wall rifle cartridges. The doe was quartering away and the barnes tsx bullet hit the opposite shoulder. I couldn't believe how much damage it caused.

I have an old red leg bog pod. It's ok. I've been looking at the bod death grip, it looks like it could be handy. I also think a rifle setup with an arca rail for quick attachment might be a great compromise.

JJ always bids high and wins auction tags. Impressive deer but not impressed with how it was hunted. Small army of guys glassing every inch of realestate for the last 6 months. Im sure they had eyes on this guy everyday for months.
