    Ammunition & Reloading Supplies Availability

I get most of my reloading components and ammo (mostly rimfire) from a local supplier who does not have a storefront outlet. He called me a couple of days ago to tell me he has picked up 10# of Goex BP at a recent gunshow to see if I wanted it. I scooped it up at $12.00 a pound...a real buy!. As...

    Wyoming Rattlesnake Mtn HMA

I hunted 74 in 2012 also. Very dry and my guess is maybe 1/2 the goats as we usually see. I've hunted 74 maybe 10 times since 1990 and have taken some nice animals there. We hunted last week of September after most everyone was finished, never saw another hunter. It was pretty dry with lots of...

    Having no computer Sucks!

Mine got a VIRUS and the operating system is so old....so I ordered a new one. Using my wife's (which is terrible, most of the letters wore off the keyboard), it sucks too! Get my new one Tues. Oh well, at least the TV is working for the Super Bowl.....go Broncos!

Colorado Preference Points update for 2013

I just got an email in response to my query to Colorado Parks & Wildlife about when the pref pt pages for 2013 would be updated. The answer was mid March. I'm not too happy and am going to call tomorrow and see if there is any reason for them taking so long.

    Brown Trout my Wife caught

Last summer my wife and I spent a week in Chama N.M. and did a little fishing. She caught this Brown that weighed about #3. I took all the measurements and we released it. I got her a mount of it as it was the first brown she ever caught. Gave it to her today for Christmas, needless to say she...

    Gunnison area unit 54

Looks I am going to try something a little different next year. One option on my list is a guided M/L elk hunt in unit 54 in the West Elk Wilderness area. The outfitter I am looking at is Tenderfoot Outfitters. One of my friends did a summer fishing trip with them and was very complimentary of...

Just saw 3 bucks in my pasture sparring back and forth. one 3x4 and 2 forkies. Necks all swelled up and looking very sleek and fit. Usually starts around Thanksgiving, weather cold and rainy for the last 3 days. Expect to see some bigger boys too. I'll try and get a few pictures.

    Ducks

It is hard for me to imagine hunting w/o a dog. Had my Lab Molly for 13 1/2 years. She was the best dog I've ever had. Easy to train, good disposition and very intelligent....naturally pointed too. Had to put her down in June. Hardest thing I've had to do in a long time.
