    Lefties shooting right-handed guns??

I have Ambliopa (sp) aka Lazy Eye in my right eye. I am naturally right handed. Found out about it when I was 6 or 7 when my Dad tried to teach me to shoot a .22 rifle right handed. Switched to lefty and that is what I have always shot....for 70 or so years. I always shot a right handed bolt...

    Squeeze The Trigger...and Pop!

A couple of weeks ago while antelope hunting in Wyoming, had something happen that happens to every reloader....eventually. I was setup on a doe at about 200 yards, head down feeding. Squeezed the trigger and just a pop. Jacked out the round and tried to chamber another....no go, couldn't...

    Advice - COAL for 280 Mdl 70

Never heard or it. I'm kinda funny in my approach to reloading....old school & if it ain't broke, don't fix it. My loads for my 30-06 & 25-06 were developed over 40 years ago. They still perform to my expectations, so I don't screw around with the loads. When I got my .300 Wby, it took me a long...

Goose Hunting Colorado Help and Questions

I'm pretty lucky....I've hunted waterfowl for over 60 years. I've learned a lot and lots of it applies to ducks & geese anywhere they are. If you live in an area that has a reasonable population of geese, get out and watch them. Where they go, where they feed, what times do they fly, etc. They...

Other than Nosler Partition in my .300 Wby Mag, all I use I everything else (.25-06, 257 Wby, 30-06 & .243 ) is Sierra Game King BTs. I have used Sierra bullets for over 50 years and they perform great for me. I also use them in my .220 Ackley Improved Swift. Given that the Speers are only 5...

    Spiking/Truck Camping/Coyoting - in unit

I tent camped for years and then a cabover camper. I finally got a quad and decided there was a better way. I bought a 20' snowmobile trailer from a neighbor and converted it into a hunting/camping trailer. I added fold up bunks, insulation and a heater. I carry all my camping stuff in it and my...

    The Good, Bad and Ugly.

Living in a pretty rural area had good & bad circumstances. Internet service is pretty bad, as DSL is the only real provider and at times it is really slow. THE GOOD.. Century Link is the local provider and I keep a land line phone so I can get internet. They are upgrading the service installing...

Looking for information on aftermarket performance chips for diesels

I am seriously thinking about adding a performance "chip" to my 2014 Ford F350 with a 6.7 Powerstroke. It has all the power I really need, even towing my 8K travel trailer. I am looking to pick up a little mileage, especially when I'm not towing. Anyone done this and willing to recommend which...
