    Bison Hunt In Yellowstone?

You don't really believe this do you? The Park Service will never allow the hunting public to cull the Bison herd. They have had a problem for years at Rocky Mountain NP with a huge overpopulation of elk. Yep....they started solving the problem by hiring people to "thin " them out. Not hunters...

If you start with Denver as a location, a 600 mile circle covers most of the country west of Kansas City, NW of Dallas, all of New Mexico, Arizona NW of Phoenix, Nevada East of Las Vegas, almost all of Idaho, All of Wyoming most of M0ntana and the Dakotas and almost to Minneapolis . That's a...

    Colorado 4th Season Updates

I checked the statistics for the unit I hunted and actually this year there were less 4th season tags that last year. Colorado's stats go back to 2015. I did check every year and things stayed pretty statics until 2019 when tags issued almost doubled. So you could be correct about the buck...

    Missing some forum friends

Since I was one who mentioned a get together, I am open to suggestions. Lots of us have rv's and tents, so maybe a campout would be one . First question is obviously where? Lots of campgrounds have group camping, Colorado State Parks for one. We could also do a dry camping event on public...

    Anyone ever had this problem

Looks to me that it was a faulty part. The butt stock is attached to the action with a long bolt or screwed in sleeve. It is usually seviced thru the end of the stock. Did you take off the recoil pad? There probably is a piece of the broken part there.

    Sportsman's Warehouse News

I am glad to see it stopped. Look what happened when Bass Pro bought out Cabelas. Quality of merchandise took a dump and prices jumped.

    Colorado 4th Season Updates

We hunted the same area in the same unit and same season I have hunted before for deer. I really like 4th season, but this year there were several things different. First thing that really jumped out for me was more hunters and camps. In past years there are usually 2 or 3 camps in the general...

    6.5 Creedmore Ammo

I have been reloading so long that I really don't know the price difference between factory and my reloads. Used to that I reloaded for half the cost of factory. I could also save more if I bought in bulk when I found something for a cheaper price. Of course the other advantage is you can tailor...

    2021 success Thread!!

Just got back from our 4th season hunt. Myself and my hunting partner filled our tags. We saw lots of deer, but the rut was still not going hot. Just a few bucks around a few does. Saw no big bucks either. We both shot smaller bucks, but boy were they fat and in great shape. Will be some great...

    6.5 Creedmore Ammo

Was at my local WalMart before my 4th season hunt and dropped by their sporting goods section. I did find some .22 LR and bought some. They also had some shotgun ammo, but their rifle and pistol ammo shelves were almost empty. You definately should consider reloading and the 6.5 C is the...

Jim is spot on. I have a Swaro bino/RF combination and it reads to 1500 yards IF I find something really reflective. I really does a great job on almost anything less than 1000 yards.

    A New Rifle....

Well gun manufacturers like to stimulate the gun buyers world with new products every few years. It is called marketing. I am well up in years and remember lots of new stuff that was marketed as the next greatest caliber, scope or gun. Remember the .17 Remington centerfire, .264 Mag , .222...

    Nikon Scope Issues

I am a big Leupold fan as a lot of you know. They have great optics and stand behind their product. They are priced very reasonably for what you get.
