Thanks Jim, I'll let you know if I need any help. A neighbor said he could take me to SLC for the pickup. Right now my son thinks he might sell the big truck and get out of the long haul business.

I think the truck is still registered to him and not the LLC. I am pretty sure Medicade is going to come after him to pay for the medical costs they end up paying for. I still need to find out about the details of his business and how it's set up. He also has a mobile home that is paid for.

My son has his own trucking business and travels all over the western US. I got a call last week from him about problems with his ankle. (he crushed it in a motorcycle accident 30 years ago). He can't drive, so I left Sunday morning for Minnesota, almost 1400 miles from here in SW Colorado...

I'll pass right now. I am waiting until they get transplant & replacement research to the point that I can get a total body replacement. Take my head (and all that I have learned in over 80+ years on this planet) and put it on the body of an 18 to 25 year old donor. Now that will be an event!!!

That is a strange looking outboard engine. Took me awhile to figure out what it is, but I finally saw the prop.

I don't plan on it as I carry my 2 target pistols to matches in an old aluminum camera case that I used for storing my old 35mm camera & lenses in when I was out in my boat It's waterproof and almost indistructable. The only disadvantage is it is heavy!

You are spot on in you post. We are planning on giving our son our place when we are gone and he will lose the senior citizen tax break as one of the conditions is he has to have owned it 10 years before the tax break kicks in. My old house in the city in California which we bought new in 1970...
