The landowner has appealed the decision in the appeals court to the Supreme Court. Not over yet. There is a chance the Supreme Court does not take the case and the decision that legalizes corner crossing stands.

Now that the fire is contained and almost out, I think I'll take a day trip up there and see what the situation going to be for elk season. I have a 4th season cow tag on the Colorado side, the majority of the fire was in Utah.

You are spot on. We used to have a ton of pheasants here, now we have almost none. We have tons of coons, I see them all the time dead next to our rural county roads after being run over . Most people don't see them because after dark, they stay home. We also a huge population of feral cats...
