Congratulations I love pheasant hunting.

The older I get the more I realize I need to stop hunting solo so much. It’s a real pain on my whole body processing my bear this year. It’s a ton of work and I’m thankful I didn’t kill him a few miles in on some of the hikes I did. Oh and don’t forget my kill kit in my archery pack next time...

Drones are illegal here in No to use during any open hunting season. But I guess if it was used by a bird watcher then Im not sure how that would work. that really sucks it was ruined for you.

I took this bear 3 days of hunting close to my property in Ca. 400 lbs 6.5 ft is a huge bear for this country. I still have to measure the skull and see if it makes BnC.

I probably would of my main weapon was a bow but I’m more of a rifle hunter. I always have 2 rifles with me when I’m hunting so I always have a back up.

That’s pretty crazy to have mistaken a hunter for a elk.

Happy to hear the hunter will be ok. The grizz need to be hunted IMO. Not that will solve the whole problem but I think it would help.
