Where would you move to if you had your choice of any western State to live in?

Just a few thoughts from a Wyoming native who has literally watched people move in and out his entire life and the population never seems to grow past the 500K mark. 1. If your wife/significant other is not a fan of the cold Wyoming and Montana are not for you and probably not Idaho. 2. If...

Wyoming NR general tags - how many point required this year ??

Game and Fish already has qualifications for what they consider trophy management, simplest solution then would be for those to be the hunts that qualify as that. Buzz or Guy might have a few more details on how they arrive at that management strategy.

Wyoming NR general tags - how many point required this year ??

Guys jumping out of point pools just to get to hunt. Some because they see where point creep is headed, others because they got skunked everywhere else. The next couple of years are going to be interesting, the ripple effects of 2020 will last for a couple of years.

    Wildlife task force, 90-10, etc.

The only thing that would adjust odds up for a few years until a plateau is a waiting period to apply for trophy quality. The longer the wait the better the odds for everyone else. Personally I would wait three years as long as the general units are managed properly.

    Wildlife task force, 90-10, etc.

Gents, keep it civil. I communicate with a lot of you outside the forum, appreciate the friendships I have developed. Buzz would be the first to tell you we haven’t agreed on everything over the years. Pretty good chance that just about everyone is going to have a LOT of feelings on these...
