NR have a higher success ratio due to IMO two things. Focused intensity, two full weeks to hunt because of x amount of time in system etc. Second is the “significant other factor.” Most who spend years applying have understanding spouses, very few of them can understand coming home empty handed...

That’s cool! I tend to grab specific pallets, I made the valences in our upstairs with them. I have a bunch sanded and waiting for this project.

After 7 years using the desk that came with my office I decided to try something new. I am going to build my workspace with mostly recycled wood. Some of it is going to be old pallet, but the majority of the top is going to be 50 year old wood/subfloor. Here is a pic.
