Idaho will have to go to a straight draw for NR tags for everything. It was the right thing to set quotas in the big scheme of things for management purposes. However, I will never understand why they didn't just go to a straight up draw in the first place and save everyone the giant headache...

The only thing that might effect this is baby boomers are starting to leave the system after they draw.

Nothing for me in Nevada this year, I shot for the moon on everything though so not really surprised. 6 points for deer and elk isn't that far into the system either in the grand scheme of things, but with the random number assignment you never know.

Jaden has a really good blog coming out that analyzes the general draw. My gut says that it will take 3 years to level out and then we will know where things sit. The big X factor is the East region that took WAAAAYYYYY too many points to draw. However I see that changing as the quotas there...
