What do you think you'll draw 2023

Can't draw if you aren't in the game... I drew my Montana deer tag so I should have a fun hunt when the time comes. I will be filming Brandon until he fills then It will be my turn. Wyoming is still up in the air but is for sure my bread and butter. Regardless it will be fun when it happens.

    Who else is...

Started off with squats, then closed with Kettlebell lunges, jerk/squats(very light), then extensions. My ankle finally feeling healed up well has allowed me to start incorporating the cleans and side to side motions again.

    WY 2023 Hunting Season Proposals

The problem on our ends is not seeing all the raw data they have from helicopter surveys and from testing for fast content etc. Gaurantee that is discussed at length at the approval meeting. The other big one is that a lot of doe/fawn tags end up not being filled, especially when the private...

Another article on Wyoming's tough winter

On the subject of feeding, Wyoming is a different animal than Utah, and even by region they are different animals. Feeding can occur in much of Utah's winter range because of where it is located. There are maintained roads in many of the areas where it can happen vs. if you look at what we have...

    WY elk area 113

It’s an every third year hunt, might be heading to every other year. Not a lot of data because of that.

Another article on Wyoming's tough winter

Deer and antelope will be what take it on the chin. I won't have a problem hunting Whitetail does or even a type 3 tag as most of them live on ag and river bottoms. They recover quickly. Mule Deer, well that is going to be tough to deal with. It is really going to depend on where they...

All rowing machine today, got the heart rate up to a solid pace which was good. Now to keep pushing it to keep the time the same but increase the meters rowed. Not sure I mentioned this, but I'm rowing rather than jogging because I'm working on keeping my ankle in good shape. The treadmill is...

Another article on Wyoming's tough winter

I've talked to several that have done that, a good outfitter has planned for years like this. One i talked with this week went to one of his leases to tell the land owner that he was planning to not book it. The land owner told him that he was planning to ask him to at minimum cut the hunts...

WY Region H or unit 78

It's going to be interesting for sure, the southern end of G is what appears to be getting the brunt of it. The deer that have migrated out of H were in better condition not long ago on winter range captures. Souther Wyoming range...that was a different story...

They have already announced some proposed cuts, I won't be surprised if they cut further in some areas, add more restrictions in others.

    75-25% for Colorado

The answer is money, now what was the question? The P part of CPW is where this goes sideways. Their perspective is the more the merrier in the sense of money. The more NR they have come to the state the more they will likely spend in the system, which they can claim as a win for the...
