    6% non-resident draw tags

We should get the NM residents to petition to get rid of that 10% outfitter quota and split it 60:40 with NRs. That would make the state an even 90:10 split for resident/NR.

    6% non-resident draw tags

Give NM residents 100% of the quota and the good units are still going to be very difficult to draw. NM is just blind luck because it's a random draw, but there are less desirable hunts that are more easily drawn every year. I've been looking at draw odds for almost 20 years and NM resident...

    6% non-resident draw tags

It's way harder for NRs to get pronghorn tags now. If your system works I'll pay you $5 for it. I'm curious to see if the unlimited quota for private lands will have a negative impact on pronghorn hunting in the state.

    Antelope ?

I would think the most migration they do is running when the shooting starts. Going out in the Summer should give you a good idea about the lay of the land and what pronghorn live there.

    State lands

No camping on NM State Lands unless you have proper written permission. I think Wyoming may prohibit camping on their State Lands too.

Something more to ponder during application periods

I wonder if there is a way we could get Wyoming to allow us NR applicants to change our applications from regular to special, or vice versa, during the modify period? I know it can't happen next year, but maybe in the future.

Something more to ponder during application periods

I agree! All NR should boycott...except my brother and I will secretly apply. ;)

Something more to ponder during application periods

It might help a little bit with the elk odds, but not enough to really matter. I do remember back when NR antelope and deer were due in March. I think that used to help our odds too. Oh well, I guess Wyoming will have my elk and moose money for a long time. I figure they owe me both tags this...

Something more to ponder during application periods

Apparently the money due early was to make the outfitters happy. I assume drawing NR elk before antelope and deer application deadlines was to benefit the NR.

    Deer Preference Points

A unit that takes more than 7 points and offers no random tags would work.

    FALL !!!!

I don't know about Arizona, but sometimes it's hot in the Winter here too! There's noting better than sweat and mosquitoes in January.

    FALL !!!!

47 degree beer seems cold when it's 110 in the shade, but don't they say it's a dry heat. :)

    FALL !!!!

I'm ready to get to Wyoming and Colorado to experience those cooler temperatures. Teal season opens Saturday here and they're predicting a high of 95 degrees. It should only be 75 at legal shooting time. :)

    Decoy for bucks

It would probably be safer than using a pronghorn buck decoy during rifle season.

    Wyoming NR Elk

Is this right? They're proposing the application deadline be January 31, but we have to wait until June for the results? https://wgfd.wyo.gov/WGFD/media/content/July-CH-44_Draft-4-29-19-5.pdf

    Wall Tent Suggestions

I made mine from a 30 gallon drum and a barrel stove kit. I cut the drum in half to make it shorter. I can add a picture if you want. It was less than $100. Probably $140 total with the stack because I needed an adapter to use a nesting pipe

    Wyoming Elk

Make your opinion known: https://wgfd.wyo.gov/News/Game-and-Fish-wants-to-discuss-elk-hunting-license I said no changes to the nonresident system unless they want to lower fees and give us more tags. Make general tags available for purchase instead of having to draw them. I would also not be...
