Lot's of puppy training and shooting right now, figured since I cannot workout strenuously my shooting better be dialed! That said, I'm going to use the early days of archery elk to help with my fall off in conditioning. Use the mountains to heal.

Feelin' good finally! Grabbed a nice walk this morning with the dogs, worked on the mountain and around the house all weekend. Gonna add the weighted rucks back in and see how I feel.

Week 6 starts today!

Better each day! Taught my oldest daughter to ride her bike without training wheels last night... four big laps ended up getting me lots of trotting alongside her. Made me sore but some Ice and Ibuprofen helped. Excited to strap up the pack again next week in the mornings for as many miles as I...

Good walk last night, first since the procedure. Super sore afterward but the three I's helped. (Ice, Ibuprofen and Irish Whiskey) Felt great this morning! Hoping to get back at it slowly adding intensity in the coming weeks... September is right around the corner.

I'm down, no rope climbing though, lol.

Hondo update! He's progressing nicely through the leveled training steps... he has place dialed and is figuring out heal as well. He loves the water and fun bumpers. Super stoked for this dog's future!
