Recently I was given my grandfathers Remington 788. I shot it yesterday and it still shoots great. 15 rounds at 100 yds all in the same 1x1 square!!!!!! I hate to risk screwing up a good thing, but the stock on this gun is in pretty bad shape. No cracks, but ugly otherwise. Any recommendations...
