that sucks! I always joked about if my house was on fire, I'd be grabbing trophies and running out... like what else do I need from the house? material wise that is.... not talking, kids, pets, wives, etc...

I was 100% gonna do a full mount, didn't get a goat though, believe I was quoted about $5k from my taxidermist. I thought I'd have his front legs up higher than his rear.... I like that angle/pose. congrats! I'm real jealous!

after my goat hunt, I want both! if you already have MOA rifles you love, I see not needing anything new, but if you're looking for something like these 2 offerings.... seem like 2 quality designs.

Is that bow or rifle? I think having 2-3 buddies help you backpack into an area and setup a camp would help greatly. I think it would be really tough to solo backpack hunt a goat and then haul it out alone plus your camp, unless multiple trips...

It really only matters for non-res tags let's be honest. Worse odds sucks for everyone, but charging $3k in 5 plus states simply to apply is a lot. Really is a debate for hunting becoming Rich vs Avg Joe. Bad odds vs Terrible.

I was gonna post/ask this... not saying I'm going to get all of the NA29... but one could pretty easily have 29 mounts etc... with 0-2 kids.... maybe they'd want some of them? not to mention, inheriting many of my father's mounts.... I'm picturing a basement/barn full of mounts one day.... lol.

Deer, Elk, Antelope, may be all long shots this season tho.

Really wanting a 7prc myself! Love that some of these newer rifles have barrels shorter than 26"! I've see a few offering 22" as well as 24" and 20" I personally don't planned to run a suppressor... so I'm leaning towards 22" Let us know what you get and how you like it.

I'll get points in AZ, CO, UT, NV, WY, MT, I may apply for some tags in NM, This year is mostly going to be points, next year should be applying for everything.
