Kinda surprised to see some steel racks in the $380-480 price range that look halfway decent....?? Probably going to build my own out of 4x4 posts, for $75, but at about $400 for a a real steel squat rack has me thinking, although looks a bit light duty.... always thought a good rack was like...

Side note, not sure it'll be answered here.... was wondering if... could a non-res draw a big game elk/deer combo in MT and just hunt a general unit and keep all their elk/deer bonus points? ie. not draw a limited entry deer or elk tag and then just hunt a general tag/unit...? thanks.

Yup! I remember waiting and waiting to decide if a buck was a shooter, usually too late... also a lot is happening, buck comes in hot....moving.... gotta draw.... aim... figure out distance...

Loud... if shooting prone they can blast dirt dust etc... into the air.... supposedly they put more pressure on your scope.... which really concerns me... make your rifle longer.... less kick, lightweight rifle etc... all sounds good, although I'm not looking to have a 300 rum in a 4 lbs...
