Angling Unlimited in Sitka is about $3000. per person for 3 days of fishing. It includes lodging and a vehicle to use while you are there but keep in mind there are only about 15 miles of roads. They do provide breakfast to be prepared by you and of course lunch on the boat.

If Sitka would work for you then I can recommend Angling Unlimited. We have gone there for the last 8 years and have had great fishing. We go toward the end of August as the silvers are in at that time. We normally get limits of salmon everyday and of course halibut are easy to come by...

East of town there is access that goes south of I-10 . We were a few miles from 10 and found some old mine shafts that go down several hundred feet. In that area there was a seep coming out of the mountain and we saw sheep using that. Might be general info but thats all I got.

My wife and I flew into Anchorage and rented a RV to travel with. Went to Denali and drove into the park about 30 miles and spent 3 days there. They have a bus that you can jump on and off so can see more of the park. Since they only allow so many vehicles in the park each year...

I drew a unit 10 tag in 2008 with 18 points and last year it took 29 points.

No tag for me this year as I have only applied for points for deer and elk. Who has a chance to draw the northwest corner units for elk?

I have hunted it a couple of times in late season cow hunt. If you are going to burn 20 points I would suggest doing the cow hunt first. You will have to get permit from land owner unless there are some turn back tags. Second season rifle is in my estimation not worth the points it takes...

Check out New Mexico for late season cow hunt. You have to buy landowner vocher and then hunting license but is good hunt to fill the freezer.
