Still hunting…..43 yard shot resulted in this cool P&Y caliber buck with a small dropper. Just darn lucky, actually. Now it’s my wife’s turn!

If I’m over 3 hours from home, I have a back-up bow. I’ve been in a position where I’ve needed it two times over the years. My back up bow is an exact set up as my primary……then I just transfer the stabilizer and quiver.

I arrowed my first deer, a Blacktail in CA, in 1978 using a Pearson longbow.

I’ve arrowed quite a few over they years. I prefer a cut-on-contact traditional style head.....either two or 3 blade. Nothing will out penetrate them.....and they work!
