I get Cabela’s gift cards every year ... works for me. The only things I want are expensive (if it’s inexpensive I already bought it) so this way I can save up the cards until I have enough to get what I want. Cabela’s still has plenty of good name brand stuff.

Makes sense, that 195gr Berger is what I referenced earlier for a .28 Nosler ... it works well. Very accurate and deadly. I've killed a couple of animals with mine so far and they've literally dropped in their tracks.

Canon came out with 10x30 image stabilizing Bino’s many years ago. I don’t know how they compare to these. Seems like a good idea.

You are missing the point of this discussion. No one said anything about “today it has to be heavy for caliber or you’re doing it wrong.” Tent said he shot his elk with a .28 Nosler using a light bullet and Bones and I just let him know the .28 Nosler typically shoots the heavier Bullets more...

That’s true, same caliber ... but the different cartridge makes a difference. The .28 Nosler shoots the heavier Bullets much better ... that’s all.
