Got it done on the opener on this buck. I found him a couple evenings before. It took me a couple days to get him figured out where he was moving. Shot him at about 120 yards still hunting through the woods to where I thought he was bedding.

These are my best 2. Both score pretty close to the same mid 170’s I just can’t break that 180” mark. Lol

Bilk creek mountains are in 031 but the rest of my info was in 051 there’s a cool camp spot on your way to Kings River. There is a pond just off the road before you drop into the valley. I’ve seen this happen before mostly in Ca. These guys will kill a buck in a different zone that holds good bucks but only have a OTC tag. They will either bring them out at night or go back during shed season and pick up the deadhead they just happened to stumble across.

Nothin wrong with that buck. Better then anything we’ve seen in the D zones. congratulations!
