I jumped this buck in some standing corn and managed to see where he went. It took a couple of hours to let him settle and then snuck in on him. 50 cal. Muzzleload

Put in a much better wood burner but it is almost too good. It does warm up the place. It does a great job with french toast.

Managed to put another good deer down again this year. It took a few days for the wind to blow so I could work the corn. Found him bedded and tried out the texas heart shot on him. He never got up, just flopped and rolled.
