The reason is that the voter initiative that passed said that the wolves had to be stocked by the end of 2023.

For sausage I use 20%. I use the bacon in burger too, 10%.

The vote was added up for the state, not by county. The green counties on the map probably have more population than all the other states added up. I live in Montezuma County in the lower western corner of the state. we voted 63% against the ballot measure and we have about 25,000 population...

I do mine in a 1 pound package for my wife and I. We always have leftovers for the next day or 2.
