Getting ready for spring and some local fishing. Looking at a pair of downriggers and some different rod holders on the boat I bought last year. Over the winter I bought a new fish finder and tachometer that have to be installed too.

My niece moved to San Antonio last year and I helped her move. You are right about that. I went to Ft Sam where I was stationed and I didn't recognize much except for Brooke Army Med Center.

Welcome to the forum. Spent a couple of years in San Antonio in the mid 60's when I was in the Army. Hunted whitetail and turkey. Also have a friend living south of Eastland and I hunt turkey and feral hogs with him.

Yep...I'm 82 now and have to really pick and choose my hunts. Can't do some I really want to do, but have some new spots that have possibilities.

Yep for sure, I learned my lesson last year om snow and ice. Fell and ruptured my quad tendon in my left knee. Accidents do happen, glad you didn't get hurt....probably a bit sore tho!

My son owns his own trucking business and was stuck in Nebraska for 3 days, Interstate closed and he was iced in at a truck stop. Back on the road now in Salt Lake City.

I read the article and the interesting thing to me is the BC government has a "use it or lose it" rule for the hunting lease. The envirornmental group says they are "using" it, but their "hunters" are not very successful. What a joke!

Finishing up our winter Bulls Eye Pistol League. I won the Top Gun award for the 10 season in a row. Average score of 586/600 for the league. We will start Spring League in 2 weeks. I am also writing grant applications for range improvement projects for our local rifle pistol club. Planning...

I have seen several posts on FB from ranchers who live in the area and directly west of the release area. They are complaining that P&W is being really quiet on where the released wolves are moving to. Looks like one of the black wolves has move between 50 and 75 miles west of the release site...

CPW is really playing games with the public and especially the ranches in the area of the releases.
