Possibility of Solving Chronic Back Issues

Yes it is. I have some chronic lower back issues and have had one surgery. My Dr says I am not a candidate for any more back surgery as I'm just too old. He say he has had less than 50% success on people my age (83). The procedure worked on my neck. Had it done 4 years ago and pain is gone. My...

The only problem at least around here, there are lots of ohv roads that are limited to less than 50" width. SXS will fit, full width vehicles, not so much!!

Possibility of Solving Chronic Back Issues

I have had some chronic back issues that have gotten worse as I have aged. I have had one surgery (it helped SOME!) and my back Dr says he won't do any more surgeries. He suggested back Ablations, which is electronic burning of the nerve where the pain originates. It is an involved process that...

    Turkey hunting ?

Turkeys around here follow the snow line from their winter area. I look at all the mud around the cattle tanks and ponds. When I find some tracks, I start walking around the trees looking for a roost tree. The area is mostly National Forest with lots of pines and oaks. The turkeys like the big...

    Silencer Central

I have a MB on my Ruger #1 in .300 Wby. Glad to know to leave the MB on and put the can on over it. I figured I had to remove it before adding the silencer. With the MB the noise is really loud, but less recoil makes it worth it.

WY Approves Bill Allowing shooting of Nongame from Vehicle

Wish Colorado would do the same. I almost got a ticket for shooting prairie dogs on private land from my parked pickup truck years ago. Thats a no no here even on private land.

I will not be applying to anything in Utah. Used to hunt there many years ago, but not now if this is signed into law.

    Corner Crossing Legalized

I think this will go all the way to the Supreme Court. The land owner ( and others who own big properties) have deep pockets and this ruling is really consequential.

    Silencer Central

I have a muzzle brake on .300 Wby (external threads on the muzzle). What are the size & threads used on the silencers? Do you still need a fed permit? Do the silencers effect the accuracy?

    Selling of Public Lands.

The Trump administration is studying the idea of liquidating public lands to private investors to fund something called Sovereign Wealth Fund. Trump quietly signed an Executive Order (Secretarial Order #3418 "Unleashing American Energy" ) that orders Sec of the Interior begin a review of all...

    Danner's Pronghorn Boots

I have a pair that I have worn for 10 years. I don't do a lot of backcountry hard use on them, but they are still water proof and fit well.
