    Down 10lbs this morning... keeping the lifting to twice a week and rucking/walking everyday. Fasting as well. If I feel like eating breakfast I skip the evening meal, otherwise it's no calories until noon or after 8... seems to be working. I'm realizing that my joints don't like lifting more...

    Close to home hunts? Fill up the gun and go. My rifles also wear buttstock bandoliers that hold 8 rounds. Far from home? 40 rounds minimum.

    Put in over 25 miles on the feet since Sunday hunting Sage Grouse... up and down hills had me puffing hard but I recovered quickly and wasn't fatigued the next day. Feeling strong and ready for elk. Back in the gym for lunch today... legs and KB HIIT.
