UPDATE: Snow, sleet and freezing rain here overnight and today. Killed a meat deer Saturday. Single digits the next couple of days. I saw zero deer this morning. Our deer don’t know how to act in this kind of weather.

Still deer hunting here in Mississippi. Season closes January 31. I’ve not pulled the trigger on anything yet. I’ve got to put up a couple in the next few weekends. Temps down in the single digits over the weekend. Not normal here. Got a few guns to work on when the season ends. Looking forward...

This will be my last year to work a full time job so I will be preparing for retirement. Office job. Loose 20 pounds and prepare to start taking care of three small farms I have acquired over the past few years. I think I will love waking up every day and thinking it’s Saturday.

I hunted out of my last one for many years. Don’t really know how many. Put up in October and pulled in February. It had its last hunt in January. What do y’all use? Needs to be big enough for two. Mainly interested in durability.
