Another good day in the gulf yesterday. My biggest yellowtail yet.

Here are a couple more…This was Saturday and we limited out with 10 American reds and 25 mangrove snapper yesterday, unfortunately no pics except the bonus AJ.

Got some nice gags, yellowtail snapper, and American red snapper today on first day of the short season for the reds.

Not a great pic but first tarpon of the year that wasn’t eaten by a shark before getting to the boat!

After a 6 month layoff with a back injury, eye surgery and issues from bicep tendon repair, tomorrow will be my first workout. Should be interesting to say the least!

I was able to pick up my mount from last year and put it next to my 2020 deer. Post COVID has been good for whitetails, now to start planning to use Wy and Co points for Muley’s and elk!

It definitely has benefits for all ages and fitness levels. After being laid up for a while with a back injury, core strength and flexibility not to mention some stress relief are the biggest benefits. No need to worry about religion aspect as you can do it from home if a concern without.

I haven’t bought ground beef in 5 years. I think I have it down to a science with my kids being with me 50% of the time…2 deer a year is plenty! Spaghetti, shepherds pie, bacon wrapped tenderloins, burgers, and occasional meatloaf are usually 2 or 3 dinners and leftovers a week. My freezer is...

And now it doesn’t better the odds…not as much skin in the game as others but definitely see both sides here. I would be pissed if a ton of points were purchased and the premise of the system changed. I feel strongly if residents were non residents and in the same boat, it would piss them off too.

Yeah, looks like it’s time to do that and then focus on other states that want my NR money. Maybe not the same thing but wonder if Florida (or anywhere else) would ever make it that difficult for NR to fish here…they wouldn’t because of the tourism $$$ they would lose out on. I guess I will...
