that'll make for a 2 month conversation somewhere else....then another 2 months when the deer pics surface.

You read the cover story??? Lol
Its not the first but yeah. Didnt seem like she appreciated the tag or deer she got or even really wanted to be there. What really got me was when they took her back to camp and then went back and got the deer. To me of you kill an animal you should be the last one back to camp. Not that it was a bad story but I felt there were others that deserved the cover alot more. Not meaning to put anyone down or anything, just my thoughts.

Yeah I didn't get that but I guess we all share different ideas. Rule I try and teach my pesky brother is if you kill it, you clean it and take care of it.

Yup first thing my dad said after he made me drag my deer to the truck. Looked at me and said now you get to clean it. He stood there showed me and taught me but I did it all. I am very thankful for that especially now with living an hour plus away from him and hunting without him more frequently. I think it gives me more sence of accomplishment in my harvest and respect for the harvest when you clean your animal IMO.

I was always told the work starts after you pull the trigger and if you dont want to pack your deer out and take care of it then dont pull the trigger!

I was told something similar, but it's not forum appropriate. It was like a hunting & birds/bees talk all in one.

i remember the spider bull but hadnt herd about the deer. I guess if you have enough money and can shoot a gun you can kill anything you want.
