I agree Dr. There are a lot of hunters here who were hunters long before there was a "hunting industry". I am proud to say I think I am one, slowly but surely I am adjusting to the new technology, but I still try to keep it pure and all about the hunt.

I think alot of them are good at marketing themselves and products they are promoting. It doesnt mean they are a good hunter at all. Sure some of them kill big animals but look at the places they get to hunt. Send them to hunt a wilderness in WA and I bet they would come home and make tag soup like I did too.

There are lots of good people in the hunting industry, but it is a far more cutthroat wilderness than the one you hunt in!

And on top of it, these guys are getting jobs in the hunting industry by reputable companies. It goes to show you the hunting industry isn't really about hunting.

Its just like everyting else now a days. It not what you but who you know!

B/c of that, my parents haven't driven the 2hrs it would take them to come see their grandkid...and I haven't had to tell them we've moved.
