Hi….I am new to the forum and I have one preference point in Wyoming for elk. I want to hunt next fall (guaranteed draw) and kill a 350"+ bull from my pickup. I have three days I can hunt. Where would you recommend I apply? ;)

Pm me, I will give you GPS coords of 3-360" bulls we passed last year. We ended up filling 1 of 3 tags and killed only a rag horn though. I drew the unit with 1 point as well. It's a real easy unit to hunt with roads everywhere!

Thats what I love about the Eastman forum. I can come here and do Zero research on my own and have everyone volunteer there favorite places. Its really nice to be able to show up with my posse and run four wheelers all over the place shooting at Elk.

Send me a deposit for a hunt and i'll get my outfitters license. By the way the deposit is $10,000. I'll need it to fence off a little land and buy a few bulls from an elk farm.:p

I would apply for the unit up the ridge by the tree across from the big rock. There is always a big bull within 300 miles of it;)

This thread is a couple weeks earlier than I expected. But I'm really interested in a spot where I can get a leftover deer tag and shoot a 190 mule deer out of my car. Please just GPS coordinates. I can't stand walking.

Is that Notellum Ridge?
Thats the spot! There is a spot like it on Nunya ridge too but you have to go in the special draw to draw it with 1 point. Notellum ridge can be drawn with 1 point in the regular draw. I didnt bring up Nunya ridge before because it sounded like you were on a budget;)

I would recommend you give up. Last year I got a tag in a unit with no public land, and the local game wardens and biologists refused to hook me up with a landowner that would let me hunt their land for free. What do we pay them for anyway?

I could write more about my terrible experience, but I have to get back to my really hard job and great other hobbies.

I think we need a new forum, specifically for these requests. One of you clever fellas can think of a good name for it..

I'm no where near creative enough for this thread, but thanks. I needed a good laugh after a long day at the worst job in the world where I get zero thanks and all I do is give.
