I really think your best option is to buy one of these sets of sheds off of ebay and have a local taxidermist get a cape and mount them for you. You can get it all done alot cheaper then going on a NR hunt, you dont have to draw a tag and besides you will have them done alot faster and wont have to deal with camping, looking for elk, shooting a gun or hauling all that nasty elk meat home and having it processed. Im sure you can dig up some kind of OTC tag in your home state to make it look legit when you are bragging to your friends!

I am new to the Eastmans forum..... but honestly this is some really funny sh----stuff.

I wasn't going to ask for advice for the upcoming application just look threw old threads to try and pick out good information. Now I feel like posting a new thread just to get another laugh!!

I feel your pain and understand the jest. Other sites are the same.... seems as though people don't want to do any research on there own. They want it spoon fed.

The best advise I can give you is go to this thread http://www.eastmans.com/forum/showthread.php/4935-Official-Post-Padding-Thread and get a couple hundred posts under your belt and then people will start giving up their honey holes, and dont worry not everyone is like umpqua hunter wanting an elk tied to a tree

Plus I have the wife bugging me about trying to fill her archery deer tag in AZ over the next two weeks. Keep telling her it is not as easy as they show on TV where the feeder is just off camera. Now I am going to point out the tie down rope when they mention hunting in WY....
