Hey boys its-16 with a -25 wind chill here this morning! Little nippy finally got a foot of snow so we can go chase some of those small Kitty's!

I'm off today. Went to our co weekly meeting and staying warm indoors today. Been outside building Walkins all week. My toes are still tingling now that they are warming up! Hahahah

My roof is waiting till spring! We been down around 0 at night and supposed to have a high of 11 tomorrow. Wish we had some snow on the ground, this cold with no snow cover is kinda hard on winter wheat.

I would be if I lived in Reno. Then again, I still need to get into the Rubies and find an bull elk to shoot. Flipping cold the other day, left the truck at -6 and didn't see anything. Guess I should have taken that 600+ yard shot of a 270ish bull back in late October. This depredation hunt is kicking my arse!!!

All the elk are way south! My partner just killed his after a week of looking for them. They moved to the south Mt range from where we had found them. Took a $250 trespass fee to pack in 5 miles for a rag horn. Good luck and ya it's freakin cold!!!

Can't do it Saturday, but Sunday its duck and yote hunting!!!

I can't shoot my bow man. I have developed target panic so bad, I had to switch release types and basically have to relearn how to shoot. Sad thing is, I think it has translated to me having TP with a shotgun also

Tomorrow I am finishing the pedestal for my buck, and then going to a Christmas party. But Sunday its time to break out the sled, tie to a quad and do some redneck sledding in a field. But that's after we have put some lead and steel in the sky!
