I understand the last day to modify credit card information for this year's draw is July 11, so rumor is credit cards may start being hit on July 12. Keep your eyes peeled, and let us know when something happens.

I am eagerly awaiting results. Expecting a deer tag after 16 years waiting. I have been holding off buying my Wyoming topo maps so I can get all these on one order.

I should be drawing my sheep tag this year. I think I have about a 0.000000001% chance. Pretty much a guarantee!

I have about 15 years until I draw my deer and elk tags considering point creep. Ha. Oh well, nothing like some good ol anticipation.

How many points you got to get those odds? I flew out to get my hunter's ed point added to my 14 makes 15, so my odds went way up to 0.00000001%.

Ive heard this "point creep" quite a few times. Is that when you build up ponts for years and then put in messing up everyone odds?

"Point Creep" means the points it take to draw a tag keeps "creeping" up (going up) each year, so it takes years and years to draw that tag.

For example I've been chasing an elk tag in Colorado. When I started it took 7 points to draw. I now have 22 points and am a couple points behind the tag I want. If I hold out it will likely take about 30 points to draw.

Just 3, so I think I forgot to carry a zero.... My odds are actually: 0.000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000001%

Hey gotta mention I think that AZ hunter's ed point thing is pretty lame, but I would encourage anyone applying in AZ to use it for an excuse to fly out there for a winter break! I had a blast on my 8 day trip two years ago. Met step-son (CA) out there and did the one day class in Yuma, then drove up to Flagstaff and up to units 9 & 10 shed hunting. Camped there. Trout fishing on the Colorado at Page. Then down to Phoenix for a spring training baseball game. Awesome weather!

May never get to sheep hunt, but had a great time visiting. And the point is permanent and for all species. Nice deal.
