It was hard to turn my back on a Strip archery tag, but I can't afford an outfitter so was told this hunt was the best option with one point below max.

Well turns out my card got hit yesterday for a AZ deer tag. I never got the text from my credit card company. It's my wife's tag since I bought a point this year. Not sure if its for Mule deer or late rifle Coues.

Are the results supposed to come out today or next week? I haven't been following the AZ drawing as I'm trying to research a rocky mtn elk tag I drew here in CA. Glad I didn't put in for deer in AZ though, but I did put in for DBHS with 15 pts. DBHS are always a long shot, but someone has to draw...

Congrats on that ! which late whitetail unit ? You don't have to say. I've been so tempted to put in for 23 late but don't want to blow 12 pts on it. Getting tired of waiting and investing... I've hunted late archery in 23 a few times lately. seen some nice bucks. Only 85 tagson late rifle hunt so not so crowed if you can draw !
