Browning A Bolt .300 WSM

Got a hand down rifle and looking into bullet selection for this gun. Any one have any recommendations for factory? Looking at 200gr ELDX or 190gr accubond LR. Primary use will be elk and so long pokes may be needed

Mine sure shoots Winchester sivlertips well. Little lighter than what you talking though. They do sell 180's

I have a couple buddies that have been really impressed with the 200 grain ELDX. They are shooting out to 1000 yards and like these better than any other loads they have worked on. They have only taken a couple of elk with them but the results were good.

That's what was historically shot in the rifle but want to bump it up from 150gr

Nice gun. I might be tempted, if I was wanting to try different grain bullets.... perhaps the Accubond LR in both 190 and 210. I would also try the Accubond 200g as well. I don’t have a .300 WSM but this is what I would load in testing. Good luck.
