Feels like I?m breaking thru another plateau. Like to see a little more improvement yet before the Columbus Race. Up the this point, I?ve run the same local 1/2 marathon the past 3 years. It?s deemed toughest half in the country. Usually about 1,000 athletes. It scares most road racers away because of elevation changes and 2 large hills.
Columbus will be my first big road race. 15,000+ runners. Excited but nervous. If someone would have said I?d be running races 5 years ago I?d say they were nuts as I competed in bodybuilding and powerlifting on a national stage.

My grandfather passed away this morning and visitation is sunday and funeral monday
