Thursday

Feeling very body fatigued today. Stress and lack of sleep have some to do with it.

Went for a run but had to stretch at the 2 mile mark as my legs were cramping up

Another great day in Wyoming. My stepfather shot 965 yards into steel with my 7RM as he finished up Gunwerks Level 2. The guys graciously let me shoot too. Went 1,020 yards with my 6 CDMR onto a nine-inch steel pig that deserved it.

The truck is packed, and the goodbyes are said. My folks drive eight hours north to Idaho in the morning. I pushback at 0500 and drive eight hours south to Colorado. We will meet here in beautiful Wyoming again next year.

good for you hogsfly.
where at in idaho are your parents?

scared a wolf off of the gated fs road last night. i came around the corner doing high teens low twenties on the bike and he ran. kind of cool, about 4 miles from the house. defiantely adds some excitement to the ride.

Thanks tim. Parents live in Hayden. Was raised in Athol, so told my Air Force drill instructor I was from Idaho, and left it at that. Did not want to be referred to by my home-town.

I have a seasonal-access 10-acre parcel above Cataldo. Just a place to goof-off.

Where are you?

Road trip back from Cody today. Set the alarm for 0400, but pulled out of the hotel parking lot at 0330... Had my bright lights on, and head out the window screaming for the first few hours to get all-of-those-eyes to back away from the road.

Managed 7,500 steps and just over three miles. Knee is a bit sore from the drive, but will survive.

Update: If you've ever wondered how many steps are involved in unloading your truck after a trip, it's apparently 4,000. My Fitbit now shows, 11,500 steps, and 5.5 miles...
