So a friend and I were having a discussion the other day about classic matchups or vs. and we're betting that some of you have some really good campfire discussion fodder so lets here em!

His - Magic vs. Bird, Bon Jovi vs. Brian Adams, Mary Anne vs. Ginger, .9mm vs. .45 ACP,... these are only a few.

Mine - Lebron vs. MJ, The Duke vs. Eastwood, Sophia Lauren vs. Marilyn Monroe, .270 vs. .30-06,... just a few.

Now for yours, I'm dying to see what you guys can come up with!

Going to have to go with the Super Cub on that one AKaviator, mostly due to fond memories.

The first photo is from just over ten years ago, when my son and best friend, Jim, took my old Cub for a joyride. The last picture, taken this morning on Lake Washington, is of my now 21 year-old-son working on his own float-rating in a much fancier Cub at Kenmore. I think he took a lesson in a 172 on floats today as well.

We splurged a little, and he is actually getting a one-hour lesson in a Beaver tomorrow.

SuperCub all the way! I got my commercial SES at Kenmore in theirs! I still own a SuperCub 180 also; floats, wheels and skis.

To stay with the thread...floats vs. wheels
