That's interesting. My turkey tag is green, along with my fishing and small game that I picked up online last month.

Perhaps I am just the lucky one.

Friday the 13th starting out bad. Forgot to close my tailgate this morning and lost the company generator somewhere. Dammit there’s a $1000 down the tube.

Ouch.

Why can't someone do something like that near me.

We have a corner on a highway that I used to travel that you would find all kinds of tools off in the ditch on. People would take it too fast and what ever was on their flatbed or not tied down would slide off and end up in that ditch.

Loading up for the gun show. Setting up for 5:00PM opening today. My son is sharing a table....getting rid of some "safe queens". I'll go shopping next week for some more stuff for the safe...LOL!

Scored today! Sold my KelTec PF9 carry gun today at the gun show. Bought a new S & W Airweight M638 and only paid $400 for it..WooHoo! I also sold some more stuff I cleaned out. Back tomorrow for the last day.

Ended up making about $1,500 and my son doubled that. We did pretty well. My gun fund is fat now, don't know what I am getting next. I am going to the range tomorrow to shoot my new Airweight carry revolver. I've always wanted a #1 Ruger, might look around for one.

You'll find that the Ruger #1 is a love hate relationship. Finding what they shoot well and what they shoot fantastic is long process.

I have a #1V in 22-250 and love it. I have it topped with a Leopold 6.5-20x50 scope and it is one of the funnest rifles that I have to shoot. It took me a while but I finally came upon a load that it loves and 1" groups at 400 yards is quite possible if I do my part.

The new revolver shoots great, nice factory trigger too. I did shoot a couple of .39 +P's in it. They get your attention as the Airweight is really light (less than 1# unloaded).

Thanks for the info, my wife has a little glock 43 9mm that I like, so I was thinking of being really nice and getting her something new and maybe start “borrowing” her old one
