Short ride on the single speed. Knee felt pretty good but I took a little tumble when I washed the front in some slick mud

Good luck to both of you on getting your first elk. Once you get the first one they come easier and easier.
I've been after them 2x previously. Both times with stick & string. Was into them everyday, just never could get a shot. I'm taking my bow and rifle as backup this year as I'm going to try to get one late season.

Tested maxes today. I've never done it before. I'm pretty happy at what I did and know what to work on

Squat: Me 220
Wife 190

Bench: Me 155
Wife 115

Deadlift conventional: Wife 245

Sumo Deadlift: Me 310 (really surprised me)

I Know this is peanuts to a lot of guys but I'm happy with my numbers I just started lifting in November and have 2 bad knees.

30 days into my program that I usually start in July in prep for September. Gonna go up another 14er this year and last year it hurt too much :)

I'm also gonna try some of the MTN OPs products starting 1 April. Will report back to see how they work and it goes.
