Geez Looooooooooooooeeeeeeeze. Great buck. Eastman's should do a story on the year you had. It would be a great read. Multi issue story. ( great page filler Scott :)

Public land OTC archery elk in arguably one of the hardest GMUs in Colorado due to terrain and animal dispersion.
A speed goat that any man would be happy to tag
And now this behemoth!!!

Cant wait to hear the stories face to face!!!

Nice CODAK, what a great buck. Great season for you! As I’ve said before nice to know someone down the road east of me had such great success. Thanks for sharing the photos! Congratulations!

Thanks for the kudos all! It was a great year, and a lot of hard work, hours, and a little luck can go a long ways. And yes Hoshour you are correct, this is NOT a "trophy" unit. Trophies are in every unit, just gotta put in the work to find em :) now B&C typicals aren't around every tree... this guy haunted me for two years. I missed him last year at 60 yards. I'll leave the rest of the story for a later time
