Finally got my running pace back
Think ive been letting my self lazy in to a pace when running the last few weeks and thats why my times were getting worse. I pushed hard on this run and got closer to what i expect from myself.

I do have one question though for people that run. Do you ever have your feet "go to sleep" like that feeling when you lay on your arm to long. I been having an issue with it on my right foot for last few month right around the 2.4 mile mark till i finish my 3 mile run or till mile 4 or 5 before working its way out for longer runs. And when i stop running and walk my cool down it works it self out pretty quickly and i have no issues. Just looking if anyone knows a possibly what might. Cause it. One answer i have found is shoes but ive been running with the same kind since i started running and ive tried tighter or looser knots to see if that helps but nothing so far

Thanks yeah i think last few weeks i have been lulled in to a set pace on my runs and that i need to push harder like i did today to increase the endurance.

Good work Marcus. I had similar issues with both feet when I ran, and when I went to a Podiatrist he told me that in my case it was related to developing arthritis in my big toe joint. Eventually, that let me to stop running as part of my exercise routine (and I still miss it.) I now wear good hiking boots (Mendel's) most of the time to keep the toe flex down. I upped my pack wt. to 46#, and am speed walking a 3 mile trail daily, and my feet are not an issue with good boots. I am getting my endurance back, and even thought about trying to run again, but the arthritis in my hips won't be helped by the boots.

I mowed the yard a bunch of house work and then 42 mons on my recumbent bike 15.05 miles

Sunday weigh in was not good vacay definitely had got the better of me this time up 4.5 pounds to 278.5. Still feeling a little bloated from vacay so hopefully some of it is just body needing to rework its systems back up. Now that ive got my cardio back into routine going to get weights back into it this week. And keep focusing on my life style food changes ive been made

Man i hope at 29 its not arthritis but never know i guess. Im start to wonder if its plantar faciaitis i have had issues with it in the past and when i first started running a year and a half a go had some issues the first few weeks with it.

I haven't updated for a while, got busy with getting things taken care of so I could leave on a scouting trip. I just got back from that trip and am resting up today.

I've still been switching between T25 and hiking with a loaded pack several evenings each week, always at least 3 and usually 5. I was pretty pleased with how I handled the hiking on the scouting trip at around 9k ft elevation so it is helping. I want to get better before the hunt in October, but I'm on the right track I think. I had no soreness from all the hiking and camp work, no cramping issues in my legs that I've fought in the past. Gaining elevation still gets me out of breath, but I recover quickly and never got that exhausted feeling like I was just out of gas. The hunt will be more physically demanding and longer in duration than the scouting trip so I need to keep after it until then and finish strong. After the hunt I need to keep up the work so I don't go backwards and lose what I have worked to gain.

Sunday: Pressure wash the house with 15' extension sprayer. That was a good workout. Back, arms, abs.
Got the house looking good so I can go play soon! :)

Monday Night:
Chest and Traps
Then worked on fine-tuning/loading up my pack. Found 1 thing I need or would like, so it was a good exercise and I'll swing by an outdoor retailer and spend another $30. lol

I have all the equipment I need, but still manage to find things I need or want to improve. This year I cut 6lb from my pack itself, but added 1lb for a better sleep pad and 1lb for trek-poles. I've also been reviewing food options more critically as it is heavy and adds up fast. I usually pack for 6 days, but keep anther 3-4 days worth at the truck. Hoping my final 6 day pack weight is about 42lb with bow & water.
