There are a certain amount of tags put into a random draw no matter what in some units for each specie. ..I know of people who have drawn sheep tags in the random draw, and there is no way any sheep tags would be leftover in any unit

Good point. I wonder if it that way for all animals or if sheep and moose have so many allocated to random.

I got the information from Game and Fish and was specifically asking about deer elk and antelope. They could be wrong or information misunderstood

25% of tags go to the random allocation...this applies to NR and Res sheep and moose. Applies also to NR elk, deer, and antelope.

WOOHOOO!! 5 successful for me! ..granted I put my 2nd code elk as general. .so I didn't draw my elk tag, but in Wyoming, I'm plenty happy with general! 3 antelope tags, 2 elk tags, and a general deer...now just waiting on idaho to post soon too I hope!

Mine said unsuccessful for area N/A? Draw odds say I should have drawn? Any idea what that would mean? Maybe someone in my party messed up on the application?

Looks like I did not draw a doe antelope or doe muley tags. I am still stunned. The odds were near 100% for both....

Wife gave me the stink eye when I told her we both drew 2 elk tags each and I also drew an additional 3 antelope and 3 deer tags. Going to be a busy fall!
