I found rattlesnakes in antelope 63-2. I was in 68 last year and I didn't see any...if I had an antelope 67 tag I think I could overlook the rattlesnakes!

I've seen rattlers from Cheyenne to Cody, there everywhere most people just don't see them.
A guy I work with says he hadn't seen one in over 8 years, I kill a half a dozen a year working and we work the same towns and rural areas together.

We kill probably over 50 of them a summer out at the coal mine. That's not counting the ones we run over

I have a unit 67 antelope on my wall that had just crossed onto 74 thinking he was safe. I guess he didnt notice a white truck parked there in an inch of snow;)

Random draw was 7 tags and 286 apps for antelope and 1 tag and 174 apps for deer last year. I see no reason I wont draw both this year:D

Good luck! My odds are a little better than that, but all I applied for was two doe antelope tags. I think I'll buy a deer point this year and apply for R or Y next year.

Yep, Your antelope tag should be a slam dunk, but the deer tag may be just a little harder to pull....I wonder what the mathematical odds are for you to draw both tags this year? Anyone know how to calculate that one?

If he pulls both those tags, he might as well just move in with my old man for a month and say screw work!

Pretty sure you just just multiply the two together, to get the odds of them both happening: 7/286= 0.024 and 1/174= 0.005
So, .024x.005 = 0.00012

SO YOU'RE TELLIN ME THERE'S A CHANCE!!

Well, that settles it, it IS a slam dunk! The only hard part will be figuring out how to schedule both trips. It will give Musket Man something constructive to do until the draw results come out. Only a couple more weeks before it is official

No, the hard part will be finding someone to suck the poison out, when a rattle-moccasin bites him on the ace!

I'll let you guys know about the buzzworms in 67. I'll be working along the WY/NE border for a couple weeks in July. I'll probably drive over there and check the unit out instead of driving back to eastern Nebraska.

Thats easy. They are both in the same area and the seasons overlap. You didnt really think I would apply for 2 tags with odds like this if it would be difficult to hunt both did you? HAHA!!!

Looks like the usual back door has been changed. Auditor website has been retooled. Might not work this year.....
