Nice bucks, were you in a limited quota area or OTC?
All units in Wyoming are limited quota that have to be drawn for or if there are leftover licenses for a particular unit you can buy one first come first served when the leftovers go on sale in July. Some of the units that have very little accessible public land like unit 23 never sell out. All applications for licenses are done online now, as Wyoming did away with paper applications a year ago.

I have always used 117 grain Hornady BTSPs with a BC of 0.391 and I worked up a load with 50 grains of IMR 4350 that gives me 3025fps & 2338ft/lbs at the muzzle and it's still going 2454fps & 1564 ft/lbs at 300 yards according to the Hornady ballistics chart. I don't use a chronograph and my Ruger M77 has a heavy barrel on it, rather than the standard one. That load always groups under MOA for me if I do my part. I also use the 150 grain BTSP in my 30-06s with the same powder and get the same results as far as accuracy. For my .243 Sako I use their 100 grain BTSP with a BC of .405 and 33 grains of IMR 4064. It is 2700fps & 1619 ft/lbs at the muzzle. That load will shoot one hole groups all day every day and before I got it after my Dad died he had told me it was the most accurate rifle he had ever shot and he always used factory Sierras in it. Both these bullets in these two rifles have given superb terminal performance on the deer and antelope I've shot with them.

Other than the 120 partition, these are the bullets I shoot in my 25-06. I shoot the Bergers with H1000 for targets and SKG with imr 4350 for game. Always have had good performance from the SGK on game even though it tends to get overlooked cause it's not newer bullet.

Topgun, unless that was a typo on your .243 load, you have broken the rules of physics. If you can develop the process further into a perpetual energy machine, then the future of humanity is assured.
