Hey there hunters! I'm new to the sight. Been archery hunting elk for about 15 years now. As most of you know, being from Arizona its extremely hard to draw the covented early archery bull tag in a premium unit. Took me 13 years to draw it and was blessed in 2013 with a 385" net 379"gross 7x7. I arrowed him at 5 yards. My story and pictures will be featured in next months EBJ. Hope you all enjoy it!

Wecome to the forum. I'm hoping to burn 16 elk points in your state next year :)
Thanks Umpqua Hunter. What's your unit preference in Az? I would assume 8, 9 or 10. Don't rule out other units in our state. With that many points your about there with wherever you want to go. I shot mine in 23 south. It borders the reservation and the bulls aren't pressured like other units because of the lower tags offered. I had 10+ bulls over 375" last year on ccamers. 23 north or south might be a good choice for September archery bull or even early bull rifle.
