I love these cold hunts! They are some of my favorite pictures wise because you can feel how cold and wet it was!

I like the nice days but...sometimes you just need a snowy hunt to finish it out and make it happen.

I don't mind the cold too much, I hate the wind! I love to hunt the day after an inch or so of new snow is on the ground. Every track is fresh and it's easy to see the animals.

I've posted these before, but figured I'd put a couple on this thread. (note: date stamp on 2nd buck is incorrect )

Opening morning this guy was spotted about a mile away with two smaller bucks and 5 does. I put the sneak on them...pulled the trigger at 212 yards.
Most memorable part, my brother loaned me his truck for the week of hunting...mine was in shop getting hail-damage repair.
